Who we are:
Since 2017, our non-profit organization has been helping Floyd County children, ages 5 to 15, experience the thrill of selecting gifts for their loved ones. We do this by providing gift certificates to all children and developmentally delayed adults in Floyd County and then running a pop-up shop December 6 – 23, at the Floyd County Rec Center (Old Rec Center) 209 Fox Street NW in Downtown Floyd, VA.
In 2024, we had 586 shoppers and distributed over 4,000 gifts! All items we purchased through our fund-raising campaigns or were donations we accept year-round.
How you can help:
We need MANY volunteers to help us run the holiday pop-up shop in December. Volunteer roles include:
- Being an Elf and escorting shoppers, as they go down their list, and search for fabulous gifts for their loved ones
- Being a Present Wrapper for each shopper in the Always Festive Wrapping Room
- Or consider trying both roles out
A short training will be provided! There are 29 holidays in December (not to mention birthdays). We respect and serve all! Please consider signing up for a single shift or multiple shifts here.
See the Donate page for other ways to get involved. We greatly appreciate our Sponsors.
