We do this by providing gift certificates to all children and developmentally delayed adults in Floyd County and then running a pop-up shop December 6 &#8211; 23, at the Floyd County Rec Center (Old Rec Center) 209 Fox Street NW in Downtown Floyd, VA. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2024, we had 586 shoppers and distributed over 4,000 gifts<\/strong>!&nbsp; All items we purchased through our fund-raising campaigns or were donations we accept year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How you can help:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We need MANY volunteers to help us run the holiday pop-up shop in December.&nbsp; Volunteer roles include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Being an <strong>Elf <\/strong>and escorting shoppers, as they go down their list, and search for fabulous gifts for their loved ones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being a <strong>Present Wrapper<\/strong> for each shopper in the Always Festive Wrapping Room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Or consider trying both roles out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A short training will be provided!&nbsp; There are 29 holidays in December (not to mention birthdays).&nbsp; <strong>We respect and serve all!<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/10C0A4BADA82CAAFBC16-60144683-december\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.signupgenius.com\/go\/10C0A4BADA82CAAFBC16-60144683-december\">Please consider signing up for a single shift or multiple shifts here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theperfectgiftshops.org\/index.php\/donate\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"89\">Donate page<\/a> for other ways to get involved.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theperfectgiftshops.org\/index.php\/we-greatly-appreciate-our-sponsors\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"292\">We greatly appreciate our Sponsors.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who we are: Since 2017, our non-profit organization has been helping Floyd County children, ages 5 to 15, experience the thrill of selecting gifts for their loved ones.
